Lighthouse Haunted History Tour
Location: Tybee Island Lighthouse
On October 12th, 19th, and 26th at 8PM, This 60-minute tour will explore local lore infused with a few tidbits of some of the Islands darker history. The ticket cost is $15 per person. Please call 912-786-5801 for more information.
A Haunted Tour at Fort Pulaski
Location: Fort Pulaski National Monument
Spaces are limited, so reserve yours now! Tickets are $18 per person and can be purchased at the park entrance station, or by calling 912-786-4383, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., seven days per week. Gates will open a half hour before each tour starts. Tours will meet at the Fort Pulaski cemetery. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled tour. Guests arriving late may not be able to participate in their tour.

Holiday Lights on for Tybee Celebration
You’re invited to partake in the festive island tradition as Tybee Island’s mayor lights the city Christmas tree. Following the lighting ceremony, the choir – let by performers with the Tybee Arts Performing Society will lead you from the tree to the steps of the Historic Carbo House for holiday entertainment and carols.
Complimentary refreshments will be available at participating locations throughout downtown during the evening celebration.
Tybee Island Christmas Parade
The holiday season is a special time of year on Tybee and this parade has become a tradition that highlights small town charm you only find here. The parade begins at 1:00pm from the 14th Street parking lot (behind Hotel Tybee) and travels up Tybrisa to Butler Avenue then to the Tybee Gym where children will have photo time with Santa! The Tybee YMCA will have surprises for all to enjoy at the gym.
New Year’s Eve Fireworks
Ring in the New Year with a bang! Enjoy the largest New Year’s Eve fireworks show in the Southeastern U.S. as it launches from the Tybee Pier at the stroke of midnight. You can watch the fireworks from any of Tybee’s eastern beaches. It promises to be spectacular!
The 19th Annual Tybee Polar Plunge
2019 marks the 19th annual Tybee Polar Plunge, a tradition held every New Year’s Day at the Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion. Join more than 1,000 hearty and brave souls as they plunge into the chilly Atlantic.
